Suck It Up Buttercups!!!

The dust has settled, but rumor has it that SOME people, did not like rowing 2 days in a row (no pun intended)! Now I am not gonna name any names, 9:30AM class, cough……cough…….but all this whining got me thinking……

Now I don’t know why this is, but when I program a WOD with running one day, then running again the next, it is all smiles (well mostly), but pop in rowing two days straight or maybe burpees or heaven forbid some double-unders twice in the same week and you would think the world was going to end!! Yes…these things suck people, but they suck because they work and things that work get results!!! I mean we could do the easy stuff and look at ourselves in the mirror while doing bicep curls, but we have all been there done that!

We CrossFit because it IS a challenge, it DOES hurt, you WILL do things that SUCK, BUT….you will also be FITTER, FASTER, and STRONGER than ever before! More importantly you will learn who you are and what you are truly capable of!!!

So put down your bon bons, throw your tissues away and suck it up buttercups 🙂

With that being said….Todays WOD is “The CrossFit Total” otherwise known as “The CFT” and it is an awesome test to see how your strength numbers add up.
