Reminder…..Schedule Update:
We will be closed for the Spartan Race this Saturday (June 4th). If you weren’t planning on running the event with us, your WOD for Saturday will be to run a 5K, just like us, minus all the mud, barbed wire, fire and other boring stuff…HA! If you are not sure, a 5K is 3.1 miles and could easily be mapped out using mapmyrun.com or you could do it the old fashion way and use your car.
If anyone already registered for the event would like to get their Race Packet early, please see one of your coaches for details.

The Spartan Race Primer.
1. Its just a 5K. have fun
2. TEAM. Start/stay/finish together. If anyone wants to push the pace, make the team knows.
3 Sharpie marker for your race # on the forehead. It will come off(with some time)(Girls-you will look hot with those #s on your forehead. Oh wait…if you are doing this challenge-you are by definition HOT.)(sorry guys. You will just look dorky)
4. YOU WILL get MUDDY and wet. Embrace it.
5. Compression gear is great. Mud gets everywhere. Yes even there. Compression gear helps.
6. Prepare to throw away your socks.
7.Do not wear the flatest shoes. You want some ground traction.
8.Help each other
9. TEAM.
10. Have fun! Have a beer for me!
