That’s RIGHT….Our very own CrossFit STUD has qualified to compete at the CrossFit North East Regionals May 26-27th for one of the top 3 coveted spots going to the Home Depot Center for the 2012 CrossFit Games!!!!
Only the top 60 from the North East region get to compete and Coach Drew after YEARS of hard work and dedication has finished in 41st place to earn his spot. We are ALL so incredibly proud and STOKED for him. Before he was a coach, before there was a CrossFit Rockland, Pete, Deb and I have watched Drew tirelessly train for the this. I remember only a few years ago when Drew volunteered his time to be a Judge when the NE Regional was held at CF Albany. Back then, he got the chance to be Rob Orlando’s judge, NOW he will be competing on the same stage WITH Rob O, and the rest of the best our region has to offer!
In addition…..Ray has ALSO qualified for Regionals with a 47th place finish!!!! HECK YEAH!!!!!
We will be closing the box and heading up to the CrossFit Reebok Headquaters in Canton, MA for the North East Regionals! If you would like to join us and support Drew, let us know ASAP….EPIC plans for the Drew Crew is in the making!!!
Now that the CrossFit Open is over, we want to say how unbelievably proud we are of ALL of our competitors. No matter what the challenge was, you ALL came and gave it EVERYTHING you had! Most of you did things you had never done before or though you never could, and for that you should be PROUD!!
We hope for those that competed in the Open, that this is only the beginning of many more fun competitions to come. BUT we also hope that this will inspire those that did not compete this year to give it a go in 2013 and help make CrossFit Rockland a force to reckon with!!!
Thank you SO MUCH to Dr. Russ & Mrs. Dr. Russ for opening up their home to us on Saturday to close out the Open in style. As promised, the bonfire was AWESOME and we had a BLAST!!!
